4 benefits by talking classes.

①Gain experience in giving business presentations in English!

参加して得られる4つのこと:英語でビジネスプレゼンの経験を積める!
All business plans are created in English and also presentations are presented in English.

The plan will be written in English, but lectures and discussions will be in Japanese and English. So you don't need to be confident in your Japanese or English skills! You can broaden your career path by engaging in extracurricular activities using Japanese and English.

In addition, the working mentors who advise students on business plan preparation have extensive overseas experience (Silicon Valley, India, etc.). You can not only improve your Japanese and English writing and speaking skills, but also enhance your entrepreneurial skills from a global perspective!
余白(20px)

②You can challenge the contest with team!

参加して得られる4つのこと:コンテストにチームと一緒に参加できる!
At GTE Summer school, students form teams with other junior and senior high school students who have never met each other before from all over Japan and create a business plan together. They will compete in a business contest on the last day of the program. If you achieve excellent results in the contest, you will be able to show off your award-winning record in the comprehensive selection process (AO entrance examination), entrance examinations with recommendations, and entrance examinations for overseas universities.

Even if they do not achieve the expected results in the business contest, all participants will receive a certificate of completion as proof of their achievement in the program.

The achievement of having challenged the difficult environment of “creating a high quality business plan in a short period of time among junior and senior high school students who have never met each other before” can be appealed to universities as an extracurricular activity in which you contributed to the team with your own leadership!
余白(20px)

③You can discover new career paths through 3nights and 4days with a diverse group of college student and mentors!

参加して得られる4つのこと:多様な大学生メンターとの寄宿生活で新しい進路を発見できる!
At boarding schools, which are common in high schools and universities overseas, students get hints on how to find their way in the world through conversations and activities with upperclassmen.

At GTE Summer School, you will share time with mentors from various universities in Japan and abroad, including liberal arts and science majors, and you will be able to exchange information and network with them in an intense atmosphere. During the round table sessions, you can ask a variety of college student mentors about their studies and entrance exam experiences, and discuss your own career paths.

In addition to hearing about department in which you are interested, you will also hear about faculties you are completely unfamiliar with and study abroad destinations, which will give you hints on your career path!
余白(20px)

④Ongoing extracurricular activities can be carried out by the student council!

参加して得られる4つのこと:DECA JAPAN 生徒会で継続的な課外活動ができる!
Want to be a part of the GTE Student Council on an ongoing basis? You can also run for the Student Council Officers who will take the lead and be active in the projects!

Student Council activities include the “Policy Proposal Project to the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology” and the “Debate Competition Project. By engaging in consistent extracurricular activities that last for a certain period of time, you will be able to appeal in the Comprehensive Selection (AO), Entrance Examination for Recommendation, and Entrance Examination for Overseas Universities!

This program is also open to students studying abroad and returnees.

Individual Japanese and English support will be provided before and during the school. Even those who can speak some Japanese for daily life can participate in the program.
My name is Noto, and I am a director of this school. This school is not just an English camp, but a business presentation in English, so the participating students are learning about business and startups for the first time, as well as English and Japanese language skills.

The mentor and college supporters are highly skilled in English and will follow up with the students in both English and Japanese. Also, 20% of the participating students are native English speakers and most of them are at the level of EIKEN Level 2 (B1), so you can enjoy discussions and learning with other students during the program. If you would like to learn more about the program, please contact us for an individual consultation.

Have you ever looked around you and thought, “This classmate is amazing! Have you ever looked around you and thought, “That girl can do such and such”? It is not because they are brilliant or have special abilities. It is because they did it or did not do it. That is the “difference.

As the saying goes, “The road of Rome begins with a single step,” and in order to accomplish something great, you must do each and every thing in front of you and accomplish it. Why don't you take your first memorable step at the GTE Summer School?

Frequently Asked Questions

実際の公開ページでは回答部分が閉じた状態で表示されます。
  • Q: Is it safe to participate in an overnight type camp?

A: Don't worry. Each room at the training camp facility where you will be staying has a key.
  • Q: How do you put together a team?

A: Mentors choose the members of their teams of 4 to 5 students so that there is a variety of grades, genders, and personalities among the students. The reason for this is to avoid forming teams of students who know each other or who are similar enough to be close friends.
We have students from all over Japan and the world who are rich in diversity. We believe that because they will be working in teams, they will be able to discuss and share roles and responsibilities from perspectives they have not noticed before.
When forming teams, we will incorporate small activities so that students can get to know each other even if they are meeting for the first time.
  • Q: My English is not good enough to keep up with the program.

A: No problem. Presentations will be scripted, so you just need to prepare in advance and speak English.
Also, students will gradually get used to using English as they present their ideas and give interim presentations. In the past, we have had a few students who were only at the 3rd or 4th level of the EIKEN English Proficiency Test, but they were all able to give their presentations in English on the final day.
  • Q: How do I pay the registration fee?

A: After you have registered, the secretariat will contact you at the e-mail address you have entered regarding payment procedures. Please make payment by bank transfer (credit cards are not accepted).
  • Q: What if I want to ask a question or check something individually?
