This event will be an in person one-day event where junior high and high school students work in small groups to:
Identify a job they believe will disappear in the future.Explain why it will disappear (technology, AI, social change, etc.).
Create and design a new job that they believe will exist in the future and present it to other groups.
This will encourage thinking about external factors, such as technological change, environment, economic shifts, and consider future career paths. It will also encourage students to use English and learn to communicate, and work under time pressure.
