What kind of practice do you have?

Practice (first half)
Practice debating both sides of the argument.
In debates, it is important to be able to express both sides of an argument. For this reason, students will practice improvising and speaking their opinions for and against.

Practice (second half)

Practice getting used to improvised debates.

Divide into two groups and debate. Discuss strategies with your team members on a theme and then compete against each other. The key to improving your debating skills is practice and repetition!

Voices of Participating Students

Miu(Japanese student)
I am enjoying participating in this debate club. I learn so much at each meeting and use advice I receive to improve my skills. The topics are sometimes challenging, and I often have to argue for a side that I am not as confident with.  However, I am getting better at composing my arguments as I participate in more and more sessions.
